Mahesh Singh Siraha Lahan 25 march –The relief sent by the state government during the time of corona in Bhokraha, Kalyanpur village municipality 6 of Siraha was stopped for a few months due to a dispute.
Ward chairperson Motibul Raine had been embroiled in a controversy over the distribution of relief a few months ago.
The relief sent 11 months ago through the Home and Small Industries Office could not be distributed due to local political disputes and tensions. Disputes over relief have been raging for the past 15 days.
An all-party meeting of representatives of various parties was held to resolve the dispute. Dalit and vulnerable families of the ward have been identified and relief has been provided to 58 households.
The government had decided to hand over the second phase of relief directly to the ward office through the Home and Small Industries Office.
The relief was sent by the State-2 government from the Office of Home and Small Industries, Lahan Siraha.The relief items included 1 bag, 1 packet of cooking oil, 1 kg of salt, 200 grams of soybeans and 1 piece of hand washing soap, said Ward No. 6 Chairman Motibul Rain.
