Nutritious food items have been distributed to pregnant women. General Committee Member of the Nepali Congress Mahesh Chaudhary and Central Member of the Women’s Association Sangita Karmacharya have distributed nutritious food items to 21 pregnant women.
Tej Narayan Chaudhary, Ward Chairperson of Lahan Municipality-15, distributed the materials in the presence of hundreds of people including Ram Kumari Das, a woman elected representative of the concerned ward.
According to Samaj Sebi Chaudhary and Sangita, today’s children are the cornerstone of our country for tomorrow.
The purpose is to ensure that the unborn child is not malnourished. Receiving the relief, the locals were happy and thanked the helpers Hat Chaudhary and Karmacharya.A total of 21 women of Lahar 15 including Mainharwa, Sobhapur, Lagaraha, Birnagar and Mohanpur have been distributed nutritious food. The relief items include 10 kg of rice, 1 kg of pulses, 1 kg of salt, 1 kg of gram, 1 kg of sugar and 1 kg of cooking oil.
The material was provided by Apollo / Secondary School Lahan. He has distributed relief in the same ward four times recently. A local victim has complained that the local government is being ruthless towards the poor and helpless people.
